Cookie policy

Last updated: 28 October 2026

This policy explains how Front of House uses cookies and similar technologies on yourfrontofhouse.com. Front of House is a trading name of Cerbero Ltd.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website can store on your device. Similar technologies include things like local storage in your browser. UK law (PECR) covers both.

What this site uses

We checked what the live site actually loads and sends. Here is what we found:

  • No first-party cookies. The pages on this website do not set cookies of their own. Response headers from the live site do not include Set-Cookie.
  • No advertising or tracking cookies. We do not use advertising networks, social-media tracking pixels, or analytics cookies that identify you across sites.
  • Fonts are self-hosted. Typefaces are served from our own domain, so visiting the site does not call Google Fonts or another font CDN.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics. We use Cloudflare’s cookieless analytics beacon to count page visits and measure performance. Cloudflare states that this product does not use cookies or localStorage and does not identify individual visitors. It is not advertising.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact form. The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person rather than an automated program is sending the message. Our Turnstile widget is set not to issue a clearance cookie. Turnstile still processes browser and connection signals (such as IP address and user-agent) to run the check; Cloudflare describes those signals as strictly necessary for bot detection. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy addendum.
  • Cloudflare hosting and security. The site is hosted and protected by Cloudflare. In some situations Cloudflare’s network can set a short-lived security cookie (for example to help stop bots). That is for security only, not for advertising. We have not seen such a cookie on ordinary page loads of this site, but it can appear if Cloudflare needs it to protect the site.

Strictly necessary versus analytics

Strictly necessary items are those needed to provide a service you ask for, such as submitting the contact form safely or keeping the site secure. Under PECR, these do not need a consent banner.

Analytics on this site is Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or local storage. Because it does not store or access information on your device in that way, a cookie consent banner is not required for it.

Do we need a cookie banner?

No. We do not set non-essential cookies, we do not use advertising cookies, and our analytics product is cookieless. Turnstile on the contact form is a security check that is strictly necessary for that form. That is why this site does not show a cookie consent banner. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for consent.

How to control cookies in your browser

You can delete cookies and site data, or block them, in your browser settings. Most browsers also let you clear data for a single site. Blocking all cookies can stop some websites from working properly. For Cloudflare Turnstile, clearing site data for challenges.cloudflare.com may mean you need to complete the check again the next time you use the contact form.

More about personal data

How we use personal data (including contact form messages and newsletter sign-ups) is explained in our privacy notice.
