These terms cover your use of yourfrontofhouse.com, the free Front of House Weekly newsletter, and the Google review-reply service. Front of House is a trading name of Cerbero Ltd (“we”, “us”). Registered address and company number to follow.

By using the website or our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

Who these terms are for

The website and services are aimed at UK businesses, in particular independent hair salons, barbershops, beauty and nail salons and spas. The paid review-reply service is a business-to-business (B2B) service for UK businesses.

Using this website

You may browse the site for information about Front of House. Please do not misuse the site (for example by attempting to break it, scrape it aggressively, or use it to send spam). We may change, suspend or stop any part of the site at any time.

Content on the site is for general information. It is not legal, financial or professional advice for your particular business.

The free newsletter

Front of House Weekly is a free email newsletter. You can ask to subscribe when sign-up is open. We will only use your email to send the newsletter and related messages about it, as described in our privacy notice.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every newsletter email. We may change the content, frequency or stop the newsletter. We do not promise any particular results from reading it.

The Google review-reply service

We offer a paid service that helps UK businesses draft replies to their Google reviews. The key points are:

• Price. The introductory price is £29 per month, paid monthly. You can cancel at any time.
• How to start. Online sign-up is not open yet. To get started, you ask us for a free sample by email (via our contact form or by replying to us). We then agree next steps with you by email.
• Google access. To post replies for you, you add Front of House as a manager on your Google Business Profile. You can remove that access at any time.
• Your approval. We draft replies and send them to you by email. Nothing is posted to Google without your approval of that reply. You approve each reply by email before it goes live.
• What we do not promise. We do not guarantee more reviews, higher ratings, more customers or any other business result. Google’s own rules and systems apply; we are not responsible for changes Google makes to reviews or Business Profiles.

The monthly round-up email is an optional add-on at £2.99 a month. It is billed with the plan, and you can add or cancel it at any time. It is not included in the £29 plan.

You must make sure you have the right to manage the Google Business Profile you ask us to work on, and that replies you approve are accurate and lawful.

Paying for the review-reply service

When paid billing is set up, charges are monthly at the agreed price. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future monthly charges. Details of how to cancel will be confirmed when you become a client. We do not invent refund periods here; if a refund is appropriate we will say so when we agree your account.

Intellectual property

The website design, branding, text and materials we create belong to Cerbero Ltd or our licensors, unless we say otherwise. You may not copy the site for a commercial purpose without our written permission.

Draft review replies we prepare for you may be posted on your Google Business Profile once you approve them. You remain responsible for the content you approve.

Privacy and cookies

How we use personal data is explained in our privacy notice. Cookies and similar technologies are explained in our cookie policy.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that UK law does not allow us to exclude or limit.

Subject to that:

• the website and the free newsletter are provided free of charge, “as is”, without guarantees as to availability, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose;
• for the paid review-reply service, our total liability to you for any claim arising in a monthly billing period is limited to the fees you paid for that service in that period;
• we are not liable for loss of profits, loss of business, loss of goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss; and
• we are not liable for failures caused by Google, your internet connection, or events outside our reasonable control.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. If you are a paying client and a change is material, we will tell you by email where we reasonably can. Continued use of the website or service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK you may also bring a claim in your home courts.
