How we contact businesses about Review Moderation & Response
Last updated: 28 October 2026
Who we are
Front of House is a trading name of Cerbero Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 10924792), registered office Victoria Cottage, Station Road, Blackminster, Evesham, Worcestershire WR11 7TF. We’re the data controller for the information described here.
Why you heard from us
We sometimes email independent UK beauty and personal care businesses, such as salons, barbers, nail, brow, lash and beauty studios, to offer a free sample of replies to their Google reviews. We only email limited companies and similar businesses, and only at a business email address that the business publishes, for example on its own website.
What information we use
- your business name, town and website
- your public Google Business Profile, including your rating and whether recent reviews have a reply from you
- your company details from Companies House
- the business email address you publish, and where we found it
- a record of what we sent and whether you replied or asked us to stop
To show you what a reply might look like, we may refer to a short extract from a public review of your business. We don’t collect personal information about your customers beyond that.
Our lawful basis
Legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)): telling businesses about a relevant service. We’ve assessed this and limited what we do: few emails, written individually, and no tracking pixels.
Where it comes from
Google Maps and Google Business Profile, your own website, and Companies House. We don’t buy contact lists.
Who we share it with
Our email and hosting providers process it for us under contract. We don’t sell it or share it with anyone else for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
If you don’t reply, we delete your details 90 days after our last email. If you ask us to stop, we keep only your business name and email address on a “do not contact” list, so we never contact you again.
Your rights
You can object to marketing at any time, and we’ll stop; just reply “no thanks” to any of our emails. You can also ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to our use of it, by replying to our email or using the contact form. If you’re unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
