Why you heard from us
We sometimes email companies that sell to UK beauty and personal care businesses, to offer a clearly labelled sponsor slot in our free weekly newsletter. We only email companies, at addresses they publish for partnership, marketing or press enquiries, or a work address they publish for that purpose.
What information we use
- your company name, website and product category
- the published contact address we used, and where we found it
- a record of what we sent and whether you replied or asked us to stop
Our lawful basis
Legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)): offering a relevant B2B advertising opportunity. We send very few emails, written individually, with no tracking pixels.
Where it comes from
Your company’s website, and publicly available trade show exhibitor lists (company names only). We don’t buy contact lists or guess email addresses.
Who we share it with
Our email and hosting providers process it for us under contract. We don’t sell it.
How long we keep it
If you don’t reply, we delete your details 90 days after our last email. If you ask us to stop, we keep only your company name and the address on a “do not contact” list.
Your rights
Reply “no thanks” to any email and we’ll stop. You can also ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to our use of it, by replying to our email or using the contact form. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
